Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This policy explains what information skhomereport.com collects, why, and how it's used. It's written to be readable — not to bury things in legalese. If you have a question that isn't answered here, email tbomboir@gmail.com.

This site is operated by Tim Bomboir, a licensed real estate agent with Boyes Group Realty Inc. in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What information is collected

Newsletter signups

If you sign up for the newsletter, the form collects your email address and, optionally, your first name. That information is submitted through Formspree and stored in my email marketing account. I use it to send occasional emails about new guides, tools, and market updates. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click — your address is removed immediately.

Contact form submissions

If you send a message through the contact form, the form collects your name, email address, an optional phone number, and the message you write. That information is submitted through Rechat, a real estate CRM, and goes directly to my inbox. I use it to reply to your message. I won't add you to a mailing list or share your information with third parties based on a contact form submission.

Browsing data — Meta Pixel

This site uses the Meta Pixel (also called the Facebook Pixel), a piece of code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you visit a page on this site, the pixel sends information to Meta — typically your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and whether you completed certain actions (like signing up for the newsletter or submitting the contact form). Meta uses this information to help me show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited this site.

The pixel is active on every page of this site. If you'd prefer not to be tracked by it, you can opt out through Meta's privacy settings, use a browser extension that blocks tracking pixels, or enable your browser's built-in tracking protection. The site works fully without the pixel — no content is gated behind it.

Cookies and local storage

The Meta Pixel sets cookies in your browser to track visits and conversions. Beyond that, this site does not set any first-party cookies or use local storage for tracking purposes. There are no analytics tools beyond the Meta Pixel on this site.

Why information is collected

I collect only what's needed to run the site and follow up with people who reach out. Specifically:

  • Newsletter email addresses are collected to send you updates when new resources go live. That's it.
  • Contact form information is collected so I can reply to your message. If you indicate you're thinking about buying or selling, I may follow up about real estate services — but only in direct response to what you've written.
  • Meta Pixel data is collected to allow me to run retargeting ads on Facebook and Instagram and to build audiences of people who have visited this site.

I do not sell personal information. I do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers listed here (Formspree, Rechat, Meta) for the purposes described above.

Third-party service providers

This site uses the following third-party services that receive some of your data:

  • Formspree — processes newsletter form submissions. Their privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Rechat — processes contact form submissions and stores lead information. Their privacy policy is at rechat.com/privacy.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — receives browsing and conversion data through the Meta Pixel. Their data policy is at facebook.com/privacy/explanation.
  • Cloudflare — hosts this site and handles all web traffic. Cloudflare may log basic request data (IP addresses, page requests) as part of normal hosting operations.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to know what personal information I hold about you, request a correction, or ask that it be deleted. To make any of those requests, email tbomboir@gmail.com and I'll respond promptly.

To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter email. Your address will be removed immediately.

To opt out of Meta's ad targeting based on your visit to this site, visit your Facebook ad preferences or use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.

CASL — Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation

When you sign up for the newsletter, you're giving express consent to receive commercial electronic messages from Tim Bomboir / skhomereport.com. Each email includes a working unsubscribe link. I do not send unsolicited email.

If you submit the contact form, I may reply to your message. I won't add you to the newsletter or send ongoing marketing emails based on a contact form submission unless you explicitly sign up.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, I'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes that affect how newsletter subscribers are contacted, I'll send a note to the list.
